The tiller gas shock assembly for the Golden Technologies Companion I & II (GC240, GC340, and GC440) mobility scooters is essential to both the rider’s comfort and the scooter’s well being. Called a “gas shock” to distinguish it from the common spring shock absorbers, this helps to limit the rattling and vibrations in both the user’s hands and the scooter’s delicate electronics. Please note that this item is not for the earlier first generation Companion series such as the GC221, GC321, and GC421 models.
